Abstract
We analyze the phase structure of the SU(2) lattice gauge theory with an action mixture of the fundamental and spin-(3/2) representations at four space-time dimensions. Using Monte Carlo simulations, a precise determination of the critical lines on the (1/2, 3/2) plane is performed. A strong-coupling double series in 1/2, 3/2 up to order 16 for the free energy is constructed. Padé approximants are also determined to study the singularities of the series. Fully consistent results compared with Monte Carlo determinations are obtained through the series analysis. © 1986 The American Physical Society.
