Abstract

The pyrethroid insecticide fenvalerate was tested for its ability to induce C-mitosis in cultured human peripheral blood lymphocytes at concentrations ranging from 2-50 μg/ml. We observed a significant increase in C-mitotic figures, indicating that this compound was effective in producing disturbance of spindle function. © 1989.
