    Abstract

    The immigration of senegalese and gambian women in Catalonia (Spain) is becoming now a reality. It gains the favour of regrouping families developed by spanish authorities. This present article permits to know best these new families, their reproductives and productives characteristics. In spite of the scarceness of labour's market and the regrouping of families status who forbid them to work outside of conjugal domicile, these immigrants women (or spouses) attempt otherwise their luck in Catalonia. It is specially young wifes or spouses who spring the professional challenge.
