Abstract

The following communication shows an analysis about the proposed content by one of the publishing house of mathematical textbooks in the primary education. With this aim, we have made a case study with one of the most widely used publishing houses in Catalonia. The analysis is based on the hierarchy of tasks (Gairin, Munoz and Oller, 2012) and on the quantification of the frequencies with which certain types of activities appear that highlights the existence of an unequal treatment of contents included in the textbook, which tends to present an arithmetization of the measure.
