Abstract
The CatSyNanoMat group of the UAB Department of Chemistry has designed a new synthetic, practical and efficient method for the preparation of aryl phosphonates, which are organic compounds used in health and agricultural sciences fields. The simplicity of the method stands out due to the absence of catalysts. The possibility of using sunlight as an energy source places it within the field of green chemistry.
