Abstract
© 2018 CSIC. This article presents the impact of Japanese art on Lluís Domènech i Montaner's work through the phenomenon of Japonisme disseminated in Catalonia toward the end of the 19th century. The research places special emphasis on the connection between his architecture, his library and his private collection of Japanese illustrated books.
