Abstract

The author presents the complete study of the metric adaptation of the Homeric hexameter to Catalan by Carles Riba in his translation of the Odyssey. The Catalan hexameters have been studied by means of a specially adapted computer program, as is shown in three examples: Od 1, 1-30; 12, 1-52; 20, 1-31.
