Abstract
Overweight and obesity continue to rise due to unhealthy diets, especially in adolescences. A recent study on the effects of a cafeteria diet with regard to coping strategies in female rats has shown, on the one hand, that this type of diet is not only metabolically harmful but alters behaviour by making coping strategies difficult, and on the other hand, that intense aerobic exercise is able partially to offset these effects.
