Abstract
The Adventures of Ulysses (Od. 9-12) are chants of great interest, in particular for their marked relationship with the East. An irreplaceable instrument to deal with their study in depth are the scholia. Unfortunately we lack a complete and updated critical edition of the scholia to the Odyssey and, specifically, of the scholia to the four chants including the Adventures. It is convenient, then, to suggest the preferential proposal of uniting efforts to carry out the complete critical edition that we comment, but starting with the Adventures of Ulysses. A state of the question is offered, a series of essential manuscripts to undertake the edition are revised and finally some formal suggestions are presented.
