Abstract
This paper reviews the communications presented within the contemporary part of the session entitled Labour Organization of the rural world and its Historical Evolution at the IX SEHA Congress in Bilbao, September 1999. Our review has been structured in three parts: 1. Labour technical organization, agrarian growth, and measurement of changes in the agrarian work productivity, 2. Salaried work and capitalist agriculture: debate about proletarianization, and 3. Work organization in the context of family exploitation.
