Abstract
This study presents the medieval prophecy known as "Vae mundo in centum annis", which was highly influential in shaping the religious and political imaginary of the Crown of Aragon and beyond. The prophecy predicts calamities and political changes in various regions, with symbolisms that medieval and modern authors have interpreted in various ways. Arnau de vilanova was the transmitter of the prophecy, although he is not its author, and he incorporated it into his work "De mysterio cymbalorum ecclesiae". The study proposes, firstly, a critical and autonomous edition of the prophecy and, secondly, an analysis of its content and its relationship with the thought of Arnau de vilanova
