La recerca en arxius locals i comarcals com a font per a una història alternativa de la literatura catalana i espanyola

This work presents the process of recovering and transmitting the legacy of the writer Sebastià Juan Arbó preserved in the Arxiu Comarcal del Montsià as a research route with the potential to shed light on many unknown aspects of his career. The inventory and digitization tasks carried out in this fund are synthesized, and the case of the research on the dramatic work of the writer is presented, which has allowed it to be edited with philological criteria, as an example of one of the many avenues of research it offers. This task underlines the importance of preserving and transmitting the documentary heritage preserved in local and county archives as a primary source that should allow for revising and rewriting the history of Catalan and Spanish literature in the 20th century.
