Abstract
The following text intends to make some refl ections and considerations on the invisibility of certain subjects and political processes in social sciences (especially in philosophy and political theory) in its muroepistemic subject dimension, i.e. in both justifying science and knowledge. To do this, we will start from the experience and the casuistry of the Saharawi people’s struggle for self-determination and their weak recognition in the academic arena. The aim of this text is to refl ect on what would be the interests, foundations and arguments that legitimise or delegitimise the presence of the Saharans as subjects of political thought for academia.
