Abstract
Our environment and its characteristics define in a great percentage of cases the preferences of residence of the population. Researchers at the UAB have identified a relationship between the distance of the centers of interest, whether professional or leisure, and the choice of place of residence of the population. In addition, it is relevant in this research that ethnic preferences are also determinant in the distribution of population density.
