Abstract

CS2reacts with complexes Ru(CO)Cl(HC= CHR)(PPh3)2(R=Ph or t-Bu) to give products Ru(CO)-Cl(S2C(H)C=CHR)(PPh3)2(R = Ph (1) and t-Bu (2)). The Insertion products contain an alkenedithiocarboxylate ligand coordinated through two sulfur atoms. The structure of 1 has been established by an X-ray diffraction study. © 1988, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
