Abstract

We discuss the impact of orbital fluctuations on the noise spectrum of a free-running oscillator, exploiting a rigorous nonlinear perturbative analysis based on the Floquet theory, and providing evidence of its relevance for high-Q oscillators. © 2011 Cambridge University Press and the European Microwave Association.
