Abstract
The quality of gammagraphic images is improved by using a Wiener filter. In the case of left ventricular images, we show that the use of a Wiener filter as a preprocessing of the image improves the calculation of left ventricular volumes. By using a computer generated left ventricle and images of a phantom we verify that the calculated volume is closer to the actual volume.
