Abstract
The use of ADEQUATE spectrum to extract carbon-carbon connectivities along with the carbon multiplicity was discussed. The spectrum correlates the spin systems by displaying proton chemical shift and double quantum carbon frequencies in the pulses. The results show the simultaneous achievement of the carbon multiplicity information and the chemical shift assignments. The comparison between the performance of pulse schemes and the transfer efficiencies for different spin systems was also discussed.
