Abstract

© 2015 Elsevier Ireland Ltd. A Home Treatment team was compared with a Psychiatric Emergency Department (PED) on preventing hospitalization among two cohorts of 448 patients matched by diagnosis, sex, and age. The logistic regression showed that HT people were 4.6 times less likely to be admitted than those from PED.
