    1. 1. The hematology and erythrocyte dimensions of 11 Montagu's harrier (Circus pygargus) have been studied. 2. 2. Significant statistical differences between the male and female groups were only detected for MCHC (P < 0.05), length of nucleus (P < 0.01) and cellular surface (P < 0.05). 3. 3. Both sexes have similar values of erythrocyte number, hematocrit value and hemoglobin content. 4. 4. Montagu's harrier have higher number of heterophils (70.63%) than lymphocytes (16.54%). © 1993.
