Abstract
A pilot carried out in the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona to explore the use of MOOCs in our teaching activity is presented. The course "Digital Systems: From Logic Gates to Processors" was launched in Coursera. Students of Computer Fundamentals will attend the MOOC course while their training will be complemented with on-site classes in small groups. This "blended" approach aims to improve the student's time management and the teacher mentoring, and lead to better academic outcomes.
