Geographies of childhood: Discovering 'new forms' of seeing and understanding the world

Abstract

The article shows the main theoretical and methodological contributions of one of the most prominent views in cultural and social geography: children's geography. From a bibliographical revision of the main journals of geography published in English (and some of social sciences journals related with our discipline), this article studies the diversity of spatial and social practices of the children and youths according to their identity and context.
