Abstract

The moments of the fluctuations of dissipative fluxes are used to obtain explicit expressions for the coefficients of a generalized entropy which depends on heat flux and viscous pressure. The results are applied to quantum ideal gases and to classical dilute nonideal gases. © 1989.
