Abstract

Undoubtedly, it is a priority to work in favor of the educa- tional achievement of students who attend high school, therefore, it is important to know the psychosocial factors related to it. The objective of this research was to establish the relationship that exists between cooperation, school belongings, bullying, emotional distress and adaptability with educational achievement in this population group. For this, the public database of the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) was used. A total of 7,299 students from Mexico participated, aged between 15.33 and 16.33 years. A theoretical model was developed empirically verified through structural equation mod- eling. A relationship was demonstrated between each of the factors analyzed with educational achievement. Therefore, teacher and family participation, under the guidelines of the factors mentioned, are a key piece in the academic field of the Mexican country.
