Abstract
The most precise description of Nature at the most elemental level is the Standard Model. However, it does leave some relevant questions unanswered. To answer them, physicists pose an even more fundamental theory, generically known as New Physics, which requires observable consequences in order to be validated. UAB and IFAE researcher Joaquim Matias explains how the latest experiments point towards the first evidences of this New Physics, with the detection of observables proposed by his research group.
