Escuela pública durante el altofranquismo educativo (1936-1970): aspectos administrativos y curriculares

Abstract

Based on the same methodology used to study two previous periods of the Spanish Elementary Education, the period corresponding to the Francoist regime prior to 1970 is addressed here. We find out an excessively compartmentalized typology of schools, a confusing school graduation and a curricular recovery of exclusively female subjects that however, it was nothing more than an extension of the recovery that the Republic had just made in several of its educational administrations. We also find precursor indications of advanced ideas, some of which would be addressed after the end of the Dictatorship.
