Abstract

The article deals with a proposal of Didactics for Environmental Education and on the need to understand the basic assumptions of the concept of teaching. It is
presented a concern about the possible delimitation of the contents and methods of
teaching that must be taken into account in the dialectic that is established between
theories and practices related to teaching and learning processes. In its bundle
argumentative, the text also tries to discuss how Environmental Education can be
characterized as a discipline or not, in view of its structure, its proposed plan of
studies and their characteristics.
