Equilibrium and non-equilibrium fluctuations in relativistic fluids

Abstract

Starting from a causal thermodynamical approach, the authors study the equilibrium fluctuations of relativistic thermoviscous fluids. The results are compared with those of microscopic theory, and the transport coefficients of radiative fluids are obtained. Likewise, non-equilibrium corrections for the fluctuations of the bulk viscous pressure are evaluated for different media.
