Abstract
In this article we explain the shared stance of Jordi and the LIEC group: there is no science without language and learning science is learning to speak, write and read science. We expose how Jordi was an active participant in the LIEC research group, and which was his contribution in relation to the role that language and critical thinking play in science education, both as a researcher and as a disseminator.
