The purpose of this article is to present the experience that has led to the design of a guide with recommendations for tutorial actions addressed to disabled university students. The methodology has included: the analysis of those tutorial actions carried out by the Support Programs to disabled students at 40 Spanish universities and 12 European universities, the interview to 10 people responsible of the Support Programs in different universities, and the creation and validation of a guide with specific actions. The guide provides principles of action, develops the elements of a tutorial action plan for disabled university students and gives specific guidance for managers and teachers, with performance sheets for each type of disability.
