El letargo de la escritura. Retos ante la edición filológica del proyecto inédito de novela "El ángel se durmió" de Sebastià Juan Arbó

This paper presents a first archival approach to the written production of Sebastià Juan Arbó through ecdotic mechanisms. Through a bibliographic and historical analysis and a subsequent discussion on the materials collected from an unpublished novel project, El ángel se durmió, a first approach to the creative process and to the author's usus scribendi is proposed. As any eve to a critical edition requires, in this monograph is addressed, on the basis of the theoretical postulates of author’s philology, a recensio of the different preserved testimonies, a stemma hypothesis is formulated, the establishment and the fixation criteria of an editable base text are proposed, and a first critique of variants that confronts the different lectiones throughout the writing process is made.
