Abstract

The village of Peguera was abandoned in the middle of a process of change in which capitalism got territorially consolidated in a permanent way absorbing the traditional socio-economic system. This systemic change came from the industrialization, a moment of peak population, causing a complex social and ideological situation. This paper examines, through the archaeological remains, the form of expression of three distinct social groups that came together previous to the abandonment, through the definition and study of three types of housing.
