Abstract

The article presents some of the structural changes that affect the professional development of Professional Training for Employment (PTE); the training needs of the collective; as well as the factors that make it possible for professionals to become quality agents. To achieve the research objectives the Delphi Method has been used with two successive rounds and with the participation of 60 experts in the field of PTE. It is concluded that the main structural changes that affect the professionals are the emergence of hitherto unknown productive sectors that will pose new training needs and the economic inclemency. The priority areas in which professionals should be trained relate to the acquisition of new skills and to learn how to analyze the impact and transfer of their actions in the field of work. And the factors that allow professionals to become quality agents are self-training, the acquisition of new personal and social skills, and the use of more flexible learning methods.
