Abstract

Haematological variables of dogfish collected in February and March were analyzed after treatment with acute and subacute zinc concentrations. Differences were found only in leucocyte number. Leucocyte levels were affected by time of analysis. The anaesthetic MS222 also exerted a significant influence on the white cell number. © 1987.
