Abstract

The author presents a series of systematic teaching factors for educational introduction to aerobic endurance, focusing on methods that can be used in schools over a prolonged period of time. The underlying doctrine was developed by the author as a result of his experience with a group of children who took part in a Cooperative Physical Education school programme whose core content included developing aerobic endurance. Criteria for use in teaching are approached from the primary or secondary school standpoint, although they can also be adapted to other areas such as training at any age, leisure time activities, etc. The author concludes his doctrinal exposition and presents repertoires on Spanish school songs applicable to his proposal for disciplinary interplay between Physical Education and Music Education in order to an educational introduction to aerobic endurance from a sustainable standpoint.
