This issue of Revista Tradumatica revolves around the tie-in between technology and translator training. Our aim has been to present a range of views, often complementary, of the roles involved: we targeted the opinions of those responsible for training, the kind of training on offer, and the students' point of view. In considering the present context, these articles also point to the future of this ever-changing, dynamic field.
