Abstract

This short article describes the origins and successes of a COST Action initiative, e-MINDS, the bringing together of two quite disparate fields, electrodeposition, and corrosion protection science and technology, and micro- and nanodevices, to discover new ways in which advances in the former can add value to the latter.
