Dielectric response and self-energy in Hubbard systems

The Coulomb hole and dynamically screened exchange self-energy is calculated for Hubbard systems. The Green-function method is applied to find the quasiparticle spectrum of the heavy-fermion metals that present narrow resonances in the vicinity of the Fermi energy. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
