The paper deals with the standing of women with disabilities in the labor market in a compared view to the position of men. Besides, the article focuses on the need to implement reforms in the labor regulations in order to foster the employment of women with disabilities, and to improve their work conditions. In this regard, the paper anlyses possible reforms in the fields of sheltered workshops, employment quota and in bonus on Social Security contributions. Finally, the paper addresses on the possibilities of equality gender plans and other measures to improve the standing of women in the labour market.
