Abstract

Between 1989 and 1990, systematic paleontological excavations were undertaken in the SE of the Iberian Peninsula. Two humeral fragments have been found in the Pleistocene site of Venta Micena. The study and possible attribution of these specimens to the genus Homo would show the latter's presence in Europe from the Lower Pleistocene. There is an abridged English version. -English summary
