Abstract
Recent data for the meson, together with the -dominance assumption for the +-0 amplitude, are used to estimate the mass-matrix element accounting for the - mixing, m2=-(4.2 1.0)×10-3 GeV2. From this value one easily obtains r-(md-mu)2ms=0.013 0.003, where mq are current-quark masses and r- measures the SU(2)- compared to SU(3)-symmetry breaking. © 1984 The American Physical Society.
