Abstract

New Phytologist 231 (2021), 617–630, doi: 10.1111/nph.17404. Since its publication, the authors of Flo et al. (2021) have identified an error in one of the equations presented in their article. In Eqn 2, the equation describing GAsw,j,i,k should have included brackets in the numerator. This error does not impact the worked results as the equation was used correctly in the associated code. The correct Eqn 2 is shown below. We apologize to our readers for this mistake. Corrected Eqn 2 Eqn 2 (Formula presented.) where SFDj,i,k is sap flux density value of each site (j), day (i), and tree (k); Tj,i (°C) is the temperature, VPDj,i (kPa) is the day-time vapour pressure deficit, η is equal to 44.6 mol m−3, T0 is 273 K and h (m) is the altitude of each site.
