Abstract

A rigid multivariate calibration method for the simultaneous determination of the components of dye baths for crust tanned crossbred sheep skin was developed. The ensuing analytical method allows dyes to be quickly quantified from the UV-Vis spectrum. The fixation of each bath component was monitored over time as a function of temperature.
