Abstract

Reaction of alkynylakoxycarbene metal (Cr, W) complexes with alcohols gives the corresponding (2-alkoxyalkenyl)alkoxycarbene metal complexes in moderate to good yields. A high degree of stereo-selectivity is found with linear aliphatic alcohols. © 1991.
