Abstract

A theory for the comparison of the critical-current density Jc obtained by transport and magnetization measurements is developed based on the critical-state model. Several common dependences of the critical-current demsity with the internal field are considered. The application of this model to experimental measurements in high-Tc superconductors is discussed. © 1994.
