Abstract
Collaborative action-research, which is based on the co-construction of knowledge, was the methodological approach of a research team that assumed an interdisciplinary project in a primary school. The essential aspects of the collaborative work between a researcher and two teachers are contrasted with main theoretical approaches to contribute with useful elements for further investigations. The conclusions emphasize the importance of this kind of designs in Music Education. A promotion of teachers' search possibilities and of school-university collaboration networks is advocated.
