Abstract

Ocular myoclonus is an abnormal movement of the eyes present in the clinical picture of rhythmic myoclonia of the soft palate-pharynx-larynx-diaphragm. Two patients are presented in whom an ocular myoclonus was observed and in whom clinical and neurophysiologic studies were made, emphasizing the electro-oculogram and the sleep recording. The difference with opsoclonus was estimated, especially in relationship with the angular velocity of the ocular movements.
