Abstract
Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia (WM) is a lymphoproliferative disorder which predominantly affects elderly people. Clinical features include constitutional symptoms, lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly and/or symptoms due to hyperviscosity. The presentation of WM with respiratory symptoms is unusual. We report the case of a female patient in whom the disease presented with dyspnea due to a chylous pleural effusion.
