Abstract
If neutrinos have a nonzero charge radius r2, some fraction of the gravitational binding energy should be released in the form of right-handed neutrinos during stellar collapse. Using observational data on the SN 1987A we find a limit on the charge radius of the right-handed neutrino: r2R2×10-33 cm2. © 1989 The American Physical Society.
