Abstract

The research presents the characterization of complexities conception of environmental education researchers. The hypothesis of the article is: the environmental education is a subject that is in evolution and if considering the complexity like a paradigm the change will be similar way of scientific revolutions on Khun (1971). The theoretical frame of reference of the article is the paradigm of the complexity into the area of environmental education (epistemology and ontology). The methodological approach is qualitative, providing a descriptive and interpretative study. The results of the research allow to (I) design an instrumental to characterization of the complexities conception; and (II) identify the conceptions of complexity of the researchers in relation at the initial hypothesis.
